Bobi’s Stylish Celebration: A "40 Over 40" Fashion Photoshoot Adventure
Today we're putting the spotlight on Bobi! Bobi is full of life and smiles at the age of 60. She spent 25 years in real estate and currently works in the commercial division of a local property management firm. She recently took part in our 40 Over 40 Project. Through this project, we're capturing the elegance of 40 women over 40 through luxury photography and sharing their incredible stories. This project is all about highlighting the distinctive beauty and narratives of women in Southern Oregon, just like Bobi.
Words of Wisdom
When asked what advice she would give to her younger self, Bobi didn’t hesitate.
“Wear sunscreen. Enjoy the moment. Go on lots of adventures,” she shared with a warm smile.
These simple yet profound words reflect a lifetime of experiences (not to mention great skincare!). Bobi knows all too well the importance of taking care of oneself, savoring life’s fleeting moments, and embracing the opportunities that come your way.
A Life-Changing Experience
For Bobi, one of the most significant decisions of her life came right after high school.
“Joining the military when I graduated was life-changing,” she recalls.
Bobi dedicated 4 years of her life to serving in the army, a journey that shaped her into the strong, resilient woman she is today. But perhaps the most life-altering moment came when she welcomed her daughter into the world at the age of 20.
“I can’t believe she’s going to be forty this year,” Bobi says with a mixture of pride and disbelief.
A Day of Glamour and Fun
When Bobi arrived at our studio for her photoshoot, there was excitement in the air. The day kicked off with complimentary professional hair and makeup, a treat Bobi doesn’t often indulge in. The transformation from her everyday natural radiance to glamour photo-ready was a special experience, highlighting her beauty in a fresh and captivating way.
Bobi was ready for this photographic celebration adventure! She started trying on the dresses she had previously chosen during her wardrobe fitting session that seemed tailor-made for her, stepping into her first glamorous gown just like Cinderella readying for the royal ball! It was delightful to watch her light up with every new outfit she put on for each different photo setting.
Celebrating Bobi
Bobi’s life is a testament to the power of perseverance and the joy of embracing adventures. From her time in the military to raising a daughter who has grown into an incredible woman, Bobi has faced every challenge with grace and strength. Her story is a reminder to us all to live fully, take care of ourselves, and never shy away from new experiences.
As we celebrate Bobi, we are reminded of the beauty of life at every age. Her journey encourages us to reflect on our own lives, to appreciate the present, and to look forward to the adventures that lie ahead.
